Gaagii, Awiequa and Kawan

Voici des personnages que j'ai créé pour le projet BD Aniterria ( dont j'avais fait une illustration ici : ala1n-j.deviantart.com/art/Ani… ). Les personnages ont, pour la majorité, un visuel inspiré de l'art amérindien. De plus, leurs noms sont les noms d'animaux utilisés par les différents peuples amérindiens. Trouver des mots en amérindien et vérifier qu'ils soient authentiques fut difficile. Les noms en Cherokee sont veridiques, je les ai trouvé dans le lexique du site web officiel de la nation Cherokee.

- Gaagii = "Corbeau" en Navajo
- Awiequa = "Élan" en Cherokee
- Kawan = "Rat" en Shoshone

Awiequa est le chef d'une "meute" de mercenaires, dont Gaagii en est le pilote attitré. Kawan est un scientifique spécialisé en bio-ingénierie qui a créé une grande colonie spatiale.

Here are characters from Aniterria, a comic project of mine ( here's one illustration : ala1n-j.deviantart.com/art/Ani… ). Most of characters have a design inspired by native american art. Besides, their names are actual animal names from many native american nations. To find these words and check their authenticity was hard. I can say that the Cherokee names are real, I found them on the lexicum of the Cherokee Nation's official website.

- Gaagii = Navajo for "Raven"
- Awiequa = Cherokee for "Elk"
- Kawan = Shoshone for "Rat"

Awiequa is the chief of a mercenary "pack", in which Gaagii is the designated pilot. Kawan is a scientist in bio-engineering who created a huge space colony.
